Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
At appotto, we believe privacy is part of product quality. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the appotto.com website collects (the short answer: almost nothing), what it's used for, and what rights you have — under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended (including Amendment No. 13).
1. What information is collected?
- Information you send us on your own initiative: If you write to us at info@appotto.com, we'll receive your email address and the content of your message. Providing this information is entirely voluntary and is not required by law.
- Technical traffic data: The site is hosted and served through Cloudflare's services. For security, attack prevention, and proper operation, the infrastructure provider processes basic technical data (such as IP address) at the infrastructure level. appotto does not store this data and does not use it to identify visitors.
2. What is the information used for?
Information sent to us by email is used for one purpose only: responding to your message and managing our correspondence with you. We don't use it for marketing mailings, we don't transfer it to third parties, and we don't trade in it.
3. Cookies and statistical measurement
This site runs Google Analytics 4 in its standard configuration, for statistical research only: how many people visited, which pages, from which country and on what kind of device. The data is aggregated and anonymous, and helps us understand what people find useful and what to improve.
The tool loads only after you agree. On your first visit a short question appears; until you accept, no cookie is stored and no request is sent to Google's servers. Chose "No thanks"? That choice is remembered and you won't be asked again. To change your mind at any time, clear this site's data in your browser and the question will appear again.
What this site does not do: no advertising pixels, no personalised advertising, no sale or transfer of data to third parties for marketing, and no attempt to identify you personally. Your IP address is passed to Google in truncated form (anonymize_ip). The fonts are still hosted on the site itself and are not loaded from third-party servers.
Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited. Its privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy, and Google's opt-out add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Data retention and deletion
Email inquiries are kept in our mailbox for as long as they're needed to respond to and document the correspondence, and no longer. You may request deletion of your message at any time, and we'll delete it promptly.
5. Data security
The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), on secure cloud infrastructure. This security principle — encryption by default — is also the standard we apply in every system we build for our clients.
6. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, you have the right to review information held about you and to request its correction or deletion. To exercise these rights — or for any question about privacy — write to us: info@appotto.com, and we'll respond promptly.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated (for example, if we add a contact form to the site), the updated version will be published on this page with the update date noted.
